MiNT’s Trademarks & Brand Policy

Usage Guidelines

MiNT ’s trademarks and trade dress are protected in Hong Kong and internationally, and may not be used without our written permission. MiNT’s trademarks include, but are not limited to TL70, SLR670α, SLR670m, MiNT Flash Bar 2, MiNT Lens Set, and other graphics, phrases or images that identify the source or origin of MiNT’s product and services. Do not alter or modify the marks or use them in a confusing way that suggests that MiNT sponsors or endorses you or your products or services, or confuses the MiNT brand with another brand.

You may use our MiNT wordmarks (such as MiNT and SLR670m, but not our logos) in truthful and factual statements to communicate: (1) that your product is “made for use with” or “compatible with” MiNT’s cameras or services (more about this is below), or (2) that your photo or video content was captured using an authentic MiNT camera, or (3) your interest in MiNT’s products or original MiNT media. If you are an authorized MiNT distributor or reseller, you should review your agreement with MiNT to understand your authorization to use MiNT marks.

Mounts, Accessories, and Merchandise

If you are making or developing something that can be used with our cameras you may make factual, truthful statements about how your item works with or is made to be used with a MiNT product or service. Below are the ways in which you may use the MiNT name for this purpose:

“Works with MiNT’s TL70™ camera OR “Works with the MiNT™ TL70 camera”
“Made to be used with MiNT TL70™ camera” or “Made to be used with MiNT™ TL70 camera”

Your use must not create the impression that MiNT endorses, sponsors, approves of, or is in any was associated with your product or service. Please do not use our marks in any way that would damage the marks, be misleading to consumers, or be derogatory to MiNT or its goods or services.

Websites/Fansites

Please do not apply for a trademark containing MiNT or TL70 or SLR670m, or one of our other marks, and do not use MiNT in your website name or register a domain name that contains MiNT, TL70, SLR670m, or any of our other marks, or misspellings or other variations of our marks. Your website or fansite must not copy the distinctive MiNT look and feel, as we do not want anyone to be confused about whether it’s your site or our site.

Buy from an authorized reseller or distributor

We take the protection of our brand very seriously. By purchasing your MiNT products from an authorized retailer, reseller, or distributor, you are helping us maintain the authenticity of our brand.
